Remember when flea markets were as scarce as, well, fleas, around here? Now you can hardly step outside your house on a summer weekend without stumbling into one. But when the trendsetting Ballpark Market opened years ago at the intersection of 22nd and Larimer streets, it brought a whole new concept to urban Denverites. You never saw so many people take to shabby chic so immediately or shamelessly.

Celebrate the tenth anniversary of lower downtown’s motley bazaar of antiques, vintage clothing, folk art, crafts, fresh flowers, jewelry and more, when it returns today from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market continues on the third Saturday of every month through October 20; call 303-589-2800 or go to www.ballparkmarket.com.
Third Saturday of every month, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Starts: April 21. Continues through Oct. 20, 2007
