If performance-on-the-fringe is your cup of tea, here’s a great way to support it — Silver and Gold: A Holiday Extravaganza, hosted by Band of Toughs at Naropa University at 7 p.m. Friday, focuses on a handful of qualifying Boulder fringe ensembles and their friends buy presenting three-minute, holiday-tinged introductions to their respective upcoming seasons.
Fractured song and dance and silliness are all promised, along with art installations, a kids’ corner, a photo booth and a screening of the 1964 stop-action classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer; to get you in the mood, the Band of Toughs put together the following video teaser.
And because we know you love it, here’s a Rudolph teaser, too. Don’t you just love it when Rudolph’s nose blinks?
