If you’re the type of guy who knows that you really only need two tools — duct tape and imagination — to solve any problem, you’re probably already a longtime fan of Red Green. And if you’re not, tonight’s Denver stop on the Red Green: Wit and Wisdom Tour is a perfect opportunity to get in touch with Canada’s funniest handyman — or perhaps Canada’s handiest funnyman. The long-running Red Green Show (episodes air Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. on Rocky Mountain PBS) has long been a source of homespun humor, relationship tips and innovative use of everyone’s favorite sticky, silver-backed problem-solver, and now Red Green himself is bringing the good times to you, courtesy of the people at RMPBS. From tips on turning a defunct refrigerator into a computer desk to the timeless advice that “if the women don’t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy,” Red Green has something to offer everyone.
Tickets are $40 and include a one-year Rocky Mountain PBS membership, which means you get folksy laughs and help out public broadcasting all in one fell swoop. It happens at 8 p.m. tonight at Colorado Heights University, 3001 South Federal Boulevard. For more information and to buy tickets, visit www.rmpbs.org or call 303-620-5703.
