The carnival is coming to town tonight for Rockstar Aaron’s Carnival Birthday Bash, and it’s going to be one hell of a freak show. It’s a night full of stilt-walkers, burlesque dancers, drag queens, carnival prizes and all the other usual midway attractions. “The rides are going to be on DVD,” admits Rockstar Aaron, a nationally known DJ. “We’re not going to have any actual carnival rides, but if you drink a lot, you’ll feel like you’re on a ride.”
All that plus guest DJs, a special birthday set from Aaron himself, and lots more. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the party starts at 8 at Rockbar, 3015 East Colfax Avenue. Admission is free, but a limited number of VIP upgrades, which include a bottle of Mad Dog and other perks, are available for $20 presale or $25 at the door.
