To celebrate the inaugural Denver Independent Comic and Art Expo, we’ll publish our fourth annual Comics issue on March 24 – and you can be a part of it. We’re accepting submissions from any Colorado artist who wants to create a cartoon about life in the centennial State – whether it focuses on good beer, bad buildings or just life at a mile high.

Cash prizes will be awarded for the best comics, which will be published in that issue. (DiNK promises extra awards, too.) The deadline for submissions is Thursday, March 17. Here are the details:

Will you step up to support Westword this year?

At Westword, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $23,000 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $50,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of Westword, now’s the time to give back.
