Comedian, six-time Emmy Award winner and infamous subject of #MeToo backlash Louis C.K. just announced a new tour, “Ridiculous,” and he’s bringing it to Colorado this summer, with dates in Colorado Springs, Vail and Morrison.
C.K. emerged as a comedian in the ’90s, writing for Saturday Night Live, David Letterman, Chris Rock and more; he gained popularity in 2010 with his autobiographical dramedy series Louie. But he faced major backlash years later during the #MeToo movement after the New York Times reported that five women had accused him of sexual misconduct, causing his then-upcoming film I Love You Daddy to be pulled from distribution prior to its release.
He returned to stand-up comedy a year later, and now he’s embarking on a 100-show tour. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 28, although pre-sale tickets are available now for $47 to $99.
