I’m not ashamed to admit that I carry what some people might consider an unhealthy affinity for Harry Potter. Although the copies my parents bought were intended for my youngest brother, somehow the books spirited themselves into my bedroom whenever I was home for a visit. (It must have been magic.) I’m one of those people who reserves the latest book in advance and attends midnight showings of the movies so I can be the first one to see how Harry’s tale is told on the big screen.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll be happy to know that you can watch Harry and his friends in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix tonight on the big screen — three whole days before it hits theaters on July 13! It’s part of the Harry Potter Charity Screening at the United Artist Theatre in the Denver Pavilions, and it starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $30 for individuals or $100 for a family pack of four.
