When local personality Andrew Novick took over the Denver Art Museum’s monthly Untitled event on May 27, things got a little weird and a lot Japanese, in honor of the current exhibit of ages-old Samurai armor: A mute Hello Kitty led tours through the museum, and while the sound of taiko drummers thundered in the background, visitors played Japanese dress-up, learned to make onigiri and sang car-aoki as dancer Ricky Harada and team struck a few Far Eastern poses.
