The Denver-based Stronghold Society put on its annual One Gathering, a day of competition and community, on July 18 at the Denver Skate Park. The event supported Stronghold’s mission of building skate parks for Native American youth as a way to curb suicide, depression and substance abuse through community and fun. Photographer Kevin Beaty was there to capture the scene.
