Juneteenth. PrideFest. Denver Comic Con. The metro area is full of festivities this weekend. Some are looking to the future, some to the past — like the fourth annual 1940s WWII Era Ball at the Boulder Airport.
I’ve been to the 1940s ball for the last two years and it consistently amazes me every time. i could try to describe the experience, but i don’t want to wax poetic-like, so i’ll just say: Worth Every Penny. it’s a fantastic event.
