Art can be funny — sometimes inadvertently — but rarely do we see a show pointedly dedicated to funny art. A kickoff for next month’s third annual Laugh Track Comedy Festival at the Bug and the Oriental Theater, the funny group show hangs through July 28 and can be viewed daily except Sundays; the official opening reception and potluck is this coming Thursday, June 12, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Will you step up to support Westword this year?

We’re aiming to raise $50,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to this community. If Westword matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.

$50,000

Visit MacSpa online for details about the art show; to learn more about Laugh Track, go to the event website — the complete schedule will go up tomorrow. See a preview of funny artwork beginning on the next page.
