Reader support matters more than ever
We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.
This is what I’d wear on the slopes if I were filthy rich, or at least scummily wealthy: At 949 Euros — or $1,367 American — it’s not for the light of wallet. Based near Oslo, Norrøna has been a pioneer in cold-weather gear for over 80 years, and is still owned by the faily of founder Jørgen Jørgensen. (Don’t you love the Norwegian alphabet? We need to come up with some new letters if we want to keep up with the Jørgensens in the global economy.)
The Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Shell is available online at the Norrøna webshop.
