Starting today and running through Saturday, March 20 at Winter Park, the next generation of U.S. ski racers will be competing in the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association TD Bank J4 Junior Olympics. The event is by-qualification-only, with races in super G, giant slalom and slalom. The competition, now in its 33rd year, will be held on the Hughes trail. The J4 division covers racers aged 11-13 from eighteen states in Colorado, New Mexico, and the
Midwest through Michigan and Ohio

Athletes will start checking in today, and have the option of a training run. Official training runs start Wednesday for super G, with the actual super G races held on Thursday. The GS training runs and race are held Friday, with the slalom training runs and race held Saturday. The full schedule is available at the Winter Park Comp website.
