Now that Labor Day has come and gone, it's time to really buckle in and start preparing for the big family holidays. Or, it's just time to leave on the cheap for a little while because you blew all your cash this summer on mid-afternoon mimosas in the sun.

Whatever the case may be, we've got you covered with tons of cheap things to do this weekend, ten of them, actually.

Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield: Corn Maze at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield (Friday, $10) It's coming up on Halloween and that means it's corn maze season. We love getting lost inside of the things, curling up into little balls and crying until a police officer comes and rescues us. Alternately, just remember, put your hand on the right side of a maze and follow it, you'll eventually get out.

Impact: A Tribute to EC Cunningham at Red Delicious Press (Friday, free) E.C. Cunningham taught printmaking for nearly three decades at the Metropolitan State College of Denver and when he died last year, he left behind a slew of artists influenced by his teaching. To celebrate both his life and what he taught, the show at Red Delicious Press is all about his students and what they've done with the knowledge he passed on.

Sip 'n' Shop Festival at The Sanctuary Downtown (Friday, free) Tons of artwork, chocolate, jewelry, and more will be on hand for sale, as well as a few drawings and prizes. Plus, you can bring your own booze, which is pretty much the only kind of party we'll ever be interested in.

Tour de Fat at City Park (Saturday, free) The Tour de Fat is pretty much a staple in Denver now and if you spend most of your time getting around by pushing pedals instead of the gas, you'll find yourself right at home here. It's a celebration of all things cycling and since its sponsored by a beer company, that also means it's about beer. It's a little bonkers, but it's always enjoyable. Whole Man Expo at Sheraton Denver Tech Center (Saturday, free) Are you a man? Do you have no idea what you're doing? Then you should probably head over to the Whole Man Expo this weekend and learn exactly how to be the man you're supposed to be. It might sound like something straight out of a scene in Arrested Development, but rest assured, this is all about teaching men how to act in society, not how they can blue themselves. Beetlefest in Frisco (Saturday, free) Have you ever wanted to smash in a Volkswagen Bug? Well, now's you chance and while you're at it, you can enjoy lumberjack shows, woodcarving, a 4K run, and live music. Plus a sweet bonus involving some type of bug petting zoo. We have no idea what that means, but we'd venture it's worth going out to Frisco for. More details at 4k BeetleStomp. 9/11 Freedom Rally at Dick's Sporting Goods Park (Sunday, free) The 9/11 Freedom Rally is all about what makes America great, which means, motorcycle rallies, vendors, and Air Force flyover, a hot rod show and plenty, plenty more. It's about remembrance too, but who says you can't remember and get down and party at the same time? Craftin' Carnival at Work Brite (Sunday, free) Craftin' Carnival is exactly what it sounds like, a plethora of craft related activities will be going down today to both learn how to make things and to sell them. It's all about crafts, seriously -- like everything you can possibly imagine -- if that's your thing, this is where you need to be. Denver Record Collectors Fall Expo 2011/Mile High Rock Poster and Art Expo at the Ramada Plaza Convention Center (Sunday, $2) If you've been to one record collectors expo, you know what to expect here, records -- and tons of them. Regardless of your genre preference, the record collectors expo is packed full of so much content you'll be walking out with an empty pocket book in no time flat. If that wasn't enough, they're teaming up this year with the Rock Poster and Art Expo, which means there will be even more awesome objects to steal your paycheck from you.

Sunnyside Music Fest at Chaffee Park (44th and Tejon, Saturday, free) Sure, the Sunnyside Music Fest is mostly about music, but it's also a free event that sees tons of vendors from around Denver and a gigantic, Breckenridge Brewery fueled beer garden. We're pretty certain you can ignore the music if you choose to and just get drunk and go shopping for things, if that's more your style.
