Just as Z Cuisine is that little French place in the neighborhood, Patrick DuPays's latest effort, Entre Nous Galerie d'Art, serves a similar purpose in showing work from neighborhood artists, many of whom frequent the eatery. Companionably squeezed between Z and its sibling bar, À Côté, the gallery will host a reception tonight for Saint Valentin 2014, a group show dedicated to the romance of the season, without being too sticky sweet.

"Most of the art is themed to Valentine's, but it's not all hearts and flowers, but more of a loose interpretation," says photographer Kristen Sink, who is helping DuPays fill the gallery and whose work is included in the show. "Everything is priced from $20 to $200, so you can buy something off wall at the show and take it home with you that night."

Welcome Saint Valentin to Entre Nous from 5 to 9 p.m.; the gallery, at 2241 West 30th Avenue, is open Thursdays through Saturdays when the restaurants are, and the show is up through the end of February. Visit the event page at facebook.com/events/576044435818774 for information.
Thu., Feb. 13, 5-9 p.m.; Thursdays-Saturdays. Starts: Feb. 13. Continues through Feb. 28, 2014
