The Adventure Centers Phil White who calls himself a glide guru promises mellow terrain, with people shuffling along through meadow and pines. The trails will be lit by more than just the moon, and if you arrive on time, you should also get a jaw-dropping look at the Continental Divide. The dinner benefits the Grand Huts Association, which is trying to link the Grand County backcountry with year-round eco-friendly huts for hikers, bikers, cross-country skiers and snowshoers. Tickets are $50 for adults and $15 for kids under sixteen, paid by cash or check only. For information, go to www.devilsthumbranch.com or call 1-970-726-8231.
