Ice Cube Gallery
through August 16
Opening reception: 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 25
Ice Cube hosts Jen Burdess’s installation, where lines of text are shadowed by curtains of crocheted webbing in a metaphor for the decay of memories over time. A second reception on First Friday, August 1, will include a reading by author William Dewey, and an artist lecture and poetry reading wrap it up on August 16. Also sharing the gallery space: Jane McMahan’s Life Like a Loaded Gun. Visit Ice Cube online for information.

What Ties Us Together
Good Thieves Press
Reception: 6 p.m. Saturday, July 26
Good Thieves member Grace Regan loves to go knee-deep into the many processes of printmaking…because there’s just something about how it feels when you pull the paper away and see for the first time what you’ve created. She’ll share some of that joy in a solo show at the scrappy co-op, where local craft beer will flow at the opening.
Cheesman Park Art Festival
