When the Beatles album Abbey Road was released on CD in 1987, it spent 92 weeks on the U.K. Top 75 list. Quite a feat for an album more than sixteen years old at the time; it was also the last album the Beatles recorded together before they disbanded. And tonight, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra takes a walk down that famous thoroughfare for The Music of Abbey Road, part of the CSO Presents HealthONE Pops series.

The orchestra will play Abbey Road in its entirety — from "Come Together" to "Something" to "Octopus's Garden," past "Here Comes the Sun" and all the way to "Her Majesty" — along with other popular Beatles classics such as "A Day in the Life" and "Penny Lane." No word yet on whether the orchestra will re-create that famous album cover.

Tickets are $15 to $69.50; the orchestra starts playing in Boettcher Concert Hall, Denver Performing Arts Complex, at 7:30 p.m. Call 303-623-7876 or visit www.coloradosymphony.org.
