What does Kylie Ireland -- the star of Deep Anal Abyss 3 and Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody -- have in common with John August, who shares screenwriting credits for Big Fish, Corpse Bride and Charlies' Angels? How about with Monica Staggs, who served as a stunt double for actress Jeri Ryan on Star Trek: Voyager. Not much, probably, aside from the fact that all three were born in Boulder and made our list of the "Ten most popular Boulder natives on Internet Movie Database" -- more commonly known as IMDB.

And while you may not have heard of most of them, you'll probably recognize a few of the names on our similar list of "Ten most popular Denver natives on Internet Movie Database." Check them both out on our Latest Word blog.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
