Alaska is massive, twice the size of Texas, and because of this has many cities and towns not connected to the road system.This unique aspect of the state has created an equally unique issue, how do you ship marijuana to a town not on the road system without violating federal law?

High noon is what the operators of Herbal Outfitters, in Valdez, Alaska, called their 12 p.m. grand opening on October 29, 2016. The historic event made them the first marijuana retail store to open in Alaska since residents voted to legalize recreational use two years ago.
