A few weeks ago we posted a contest, in which we asked Cafe Society readers how many Cricket burgers the Cherry Cricket, a participant in the Denver Burger Battle, which takes place tomorrow night at Union Station, serves in a week. The correct number is 6,800, and the person who came the closest to that number without going over, wins two VIP tickets to the showdown.
We have a winner.
Congrats to Christy, who came the closest with her guess of 6,789 Cricket burgers.
Unfortunately, the event is completely sold out, but Jeremy Kossler, who spearheads the burger rivalry, already has a “ticket reminder” list for next year’s competition set up on his Denver Burger Battle website.
