Although other Tamarac Square tenants have been told to get out of the mall this month, Rodney’s plans to hang on until the end of the year — when owner Rodney Utz says the developer will have to buy him out of the rest of his lease, which goes another six years. After that, Utz will concentrate all efforts on the original Rodney’s, at 2819 East Second Avenue.
Utz told us he’s counted 72 other restaurants come and go in Cherry Creek North over the course of his restaurant’s 27 years there.
