On the calendar, there are special days dedicated to almost everything: National Go Skate Day, National Margarita Day, National Bacon Day. And today we celebrate one of the more tasty days of dedication – National Clam Chowder Day!
To celebrate, Jax in Lodo will be offering $7 bowls of New England clam chowder filled with roasted garlic cream, clams, potatoes, bacon, and sweet onions. Jax Glendale will also be paying tribute to the chowder by serving up a cup of seafood clam chowder with mussels, clams, shrimp, potato, chilies, tender belly bacon, fried okra, carrots and roasted garlic cream for just $5.
