Cholon Modern Asian Bistro, 1555 Blake Street, is commemorating two years in business with a four-course wine dinner tonight.
The event begins at 7 p.m. with a complimentary sampling of the new fall cocktail selection followed by dinner, which costs $70 per person ($98 with wine pairings). The menu will showcase some of the restaurant’s new fall dishes:
Salmon tartar, scallion pancakes and beet caviar
Celery root soup with miso butterscotch and Asian pear
Fig-tamarind glazed veal shank with Chinese sausage cassoulet and stir-fried bok choy
Spiced chocolate pudding cake with salted peanut ice cream, bananas
