Just over a year ago, when I spoke with Gabriela Bossy, the owner of Cilantro Fusion, a south-of-the-border storefront at 1531 Stout Street, she was optimistic that her Mexican joint would woo downtowners with its green chile, mole enchiladas and Oaxacan huevos rancheros. “We’ve been so busy, and I know we’ve got some things to work on, but all we really want to do is make our customers happy and make sure they come back,” she told me.
Judging from the sign on the front door announcing a temporary closure and, even more telling, a disconnected phone number, it appears that Bossy’s customers didn’t oblige.
Bummer.
