Independent Journalism in Denver Needs You
We need to raise $25,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
Copper Kettle Brewing is counting down the days until Christmas with its 12 Firkins of Christmas — twelve unique casks themed around the holiday carol, “12 Days of Christmas.” And it’s down to the penultimate brew today.

The Brewery started off the festive firkin series with Drummers Drumming, an intensely hopped-up Imperial IPA, made with with twelve different hops. Today’s beer is 2 Turtle Doves, a decadent chocolate and caramel stout. The firkin will be flowing from 2 p.m. until it is gone.
The 12 Firkins of Christmas comes to a conclusion tomorrow as the brewery releases Partridge in a Pear Tree, an Oud Bruin Sour Ale. For more information, head to copperkettlebrewing.com.
