Cucina Colore has occupied its quiet corner of Third Avenue in Cherry Creek North for twenty years, making a few changes along the way (like adding a happy hour with Venetian-style cicchetti small plates in 2010). But now there are signs of bigger activity afoot.

Cucina Colore window signs and a door banner announcing “wine bar” have been added to the vacant retail space next door to the Italian restaurant. The management isn’t ready to talk about the plans yet, but judging from the size of the added space (which previously held an art gallery), Cucina Colore’s footprint could almost double.
