Denver Beer Fest, the nine-day celebration of suds that surrounds the annual Great American Beer Festival, will return this fall from October 5 to 13. The fourth annual fest, loosely coordinated by Visit Denver, consists of a series of beer-pairing dinners, tap takeovers, brewery tours, special promotions, rare beer tastings, beer education, beer battles and games, meet-the-brewer nights and other events. This year, there will also be a beer crawl.
All of the events will be listed at DenverBeerFest.com, which also has information on “the city’s brewing history, as well as profiles of craft breweries around the state,” according to Visit Denver. The website will be updated daily beginning in September.
The centerpiece, the Great American Beer Festival, takes place October 11-13; tickets go on sale on August 2 and will sell out fast.
