Robert Sherk was just doing his day job, canvassing the local burb, pounding on doors, peddling meat door to door, when he got caught in a spliff of trouble.
Sherk was on the job in Athens, Tennessee, when police accused him of selling meat without a proper permit, according to the Daily Post Athenian. As they approached, Sherk apparently swallowed a half-smoked marijuana cigarette. The officers tried to retrieve the offending blunt, but were rebuffed in their efforts. As a result of him burning down a joint, Sherk was charged for evidence tampering and resisting arrest; his bond is set at $5,000.
That meat is going to come in handy while he’s on a staycation.
