Eleven East Colfax restaurants will take part in tonight’s Feast on the Fax, an annual event organized by the East Denver Colfax Partnership and local businesses that encourages foodophiles to walk, bike or hop on a free shuttle bus that takes patrons from restaurant to restaurant — where they can nosh on food samples for $25 per person. If you want to get shit-faced along the route, bring extra cash.
The grub-a-thon begins at 5 p.m., and the tours start at one of five restaurants: Mataam Fez (4609 East Colfax); The Elm (5001 East Colfax); Phoenician Kabob (5709 East Colfax); Mozart Lounge & Piano Bar; or Senor Pepe’s (1422 Poplar Street). Other participating restaurants include Solera (5410 East Colfax), Habesha Ethiopian Restaurant (5707 East Colfax), Africana Cafe (5091 East Colfax ), Krameria Cafe (1401 Krameria St.), Cork House (4900 East Colfax) and Queen of Sheba (7225 East Colfax).
