The Alamo Drafthouse is screening two films by filmmaker Alex Cox, alongside a craft dinner of paella and three beers, starting at 6 p.m. today. Straight to Hell and Walker will play back to back and Cox will be on hand to do Q&As after both films. Tickets are $35; get yours at drafthouse.com.
In the second installment of the Boulder Pizzeria Locale’s Flour + Fire series, the focus is on local breweries. Guests will get acquainted with some Colorado microbrews during an intimate family-style meal that’sPiz designed to showcase Locale’s pizza and explore traditional southern Italian cooking “al forno.” Today’s guest brewery will be Elevation Beer Co.
