The historic, romantic Victorian at 1225 Logan Street has sat dormant for the past year, its last occupant, Maison de Fleur, a florist and event center that benefited from the wild rose bushes, skyscraping trees, ornate moldings and white wedding trappings that flow through the spacious, high-ceilinged rooms strewn throughout the century-old estate.
And now, the vacant space, which went into foreclosure in March of last year, will soon take on another floral theme, this time as Fleur Bistro, a new restaurant that will take up space on the lower level of the multi-story Victorian. A liquor-license hearing is scheduled for September 24 at at 9 a.m. at the Wellington Webb Building. Eva and Andrew Esparaza, along with Barton Jones, are listed as managing partners on the application.
