Just heard from Robert Thompson, owner of Argyll, the Cherry Creek gastropub that snapped up our Best of Denver 2010 Best New Restaurant award, that he got a call from the brass at the Food Network, who’s sending a film crew to Denver in August or September to shoot the pub’s corned beef hash, which we waxed ecstatic about in our 100 Favorite Dishes roundup.

The hash, which will be featured as part of a segment on the country’s best brunches, will air on Unique Eats, and according to Thompson, the timing couldn’t be better. “We have a new summer brunch menu coming out this weekend with beignet French toast, confit chicken pot pie Benedict and new pancakes.”

That’s our kind of morning fuel.
