For the first time, Frasca Food & Wine is opening for lunch — but only on Friday and Saturday, May 8-9. Although the schedule change is to accommodate people in town for graduation ceremonies at the University of Colorado, you don’t need to know a student to sign up for the $50 prix-fixe, four-course meal by chef/owner Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson. (Sommelier Bobby Stuckey will be on hand to pair wines and offer recommendations, too.) To reserve your spot, call 303-442-6966.
And while Frasca will quit serving lunch after Saturday, it will soon have more seats to accommodate the throngs to flock to the restaurant at 1738 Pearl Street. The restaurant has created an outdoor patio that will open as soon as this “freaky deeky weather settles down,” says spokesomwan Sarah Abell. And all thirteen al fresco dining spots will be reserved for walk-in diners — doubling Frasca’s walk-in capacity.
