It’s that wonderful day of the year, February 5, when the International House of Pancakes helps us all celebrate National Pancake Day by letting us cram our guts with free hotcakes., while IHOP raises money for Shriners hospitals and other local charities. There are a dozen IHOP locations in the Denver metro area where you can collect on this promise of deliciously free pancakes, including the spots 1595 South Colorado Boulevard and 3730 Quebec Street.

From 7 to 10 a.m. today, February 5, 1,500 IHOP restaurants across the country will offer each customer a complimentary stack of IHOP’s signature buttermilk pancakes. In exchange, customers are encouraged to make a voluntary contribution.

This is the eighth year for the fundraiser. IHOP made over $3 million for charities in 2012, and company execs are predicting that they’ll give away four million free pancakes today.
