Charlie Palmer will be opening two restaurants in the spot at 1631 Wazee Street that most recently had been home to Big Game (and Il Fornaio before that). District Meats will be taking over about two-thirds of the space, including that big dining area; Wazee Wood-Fired Pizza will be in the current bar area, where an open kitchen with a state-of-the-art pizza oven will be added.
