The 28th annual Uptown Sampler will give guests a taste of the Uptown Neighborhood from 5 to 8:30 p.m. today. Diners can stroll or ride through the neighborhood while tasting samples from over twenty Uptown restaurants, enjoying live music, sipping on drink specials and tasting an assortment of wines. The ticket price includes rides on an Excursion bus if you’re not up for walking or want to hit a few spots on opposite ends of the neighborhood. Participating restaurants include Ace, Argyll Whisky Beer, WaterCourse Foods, Steuben’s, The Denver Bicycle Cafe, Tavern Uptown and many more. The sampler is self-guided, so you can roam as you please, and all food is included in the ticket price. Bring some cash for drinks, though – while they aren’t included, each location will have specials running all night. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at The District, Ace, Margs Uptown, Hamburger Mary’s and Argyll Whisky Beer. For more information, visit uptownonthehill.org.
