Great Scotts Eatery, which pays homage to ’50s diners, will pay homage to another good cause today: CASA, an organization that provides court-appointed special advocates for kids in Broomfield and Adams counties.

The second Great Scotts, a shiny spot at 7510 U.S. Highway 287 in Broomfield, will be donating 15 percent of all sales from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. today. And from 8 to 10 a.m., Broomfield mayor Pat Quinn will be on hand for coffee and conversation.

For more information, call 303-469-5291.

The original Great Scotts, at 1551 Cortez in Denver, is a 24-hour operation, and almost old enough to cross over from homage to old-style diners to the real thing.
