My kid turns twelve today (Happy birthday, Elliott!), and that calls for a celebration, which, in our house, typically means dinner out. We began the festivities last night — not with pizza or burgers — but here, at this Asian restaurant, where we slurped bowls of ramen and stuffed our gullets with edamame beans, Chinese pork ribs and Thai curries.
