$20,000

Way too often, I’m steered in the wrong direction by leaving my food fate in the hands of a server (or counter person), mostly because I can’t make up my mind, which is no one’s fault but my own. Still, it leaves a really bad taste in my mouth when the newsprint of the paper I’m reading starts to look more palatable than the food that’s in my mouth, which is exactly what happened when I made the mistake of throwing caution to the kitchen at the joint where the above snap was flashed — a joint, I might add, that does a lot of dishes well, but not the chile rellenos.

Can you guess where I’m eating?

Special bonus: Anyone who gives the first correct answer to the week’s Where am I drinking/eating posts is entered into a pool — and every Monday, we select one lucky winner who’ll receive a 2011 EatDenver dining deck, worth up to $520 in discounts at independent restaurants. Read all about EatDenver dining decks here.
