I love a hearty Mid East feast, and I wanted to love the restaurant where the above sampler platter was snapped, but aside from the tabbouleh and beef shawarma, both of which were fine — not stellar, but fine — nothing here made me want to come rushing back, least of all, the anemically seasoned hummus completely bereft of the lemon jolt that gives it the requisite sharp tang.
Can you guess where I’m eating?
Special bonus: Anyone who gives the first correct answer to the week’s Where am I drinking/eating posts is entered into a pool — and every Monday, we select one lucky winner who’ll receive a 2011 EatDenver dining deck, worth up to $520 in discounts at independent restaurants.
