Guess where I’m eating smoked salmon and latkes?

I’ve had my share of really, really lousy latkes, especially in Denver. But there’s at least one restaurant in the Mile High City that manages to make the potato pancakes the way they should be: crisp and golden on the surface and savory, starchy and fluffy inside. Here, you can top the latkes with scratch-made applesauce, green chile, or smoked salmon and sour cream, the latter of which resulted in a lovely breakfast.
