Reader support matters more than ever
We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $25,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.
After short-lived runs as Jezebel’s Juke Joint & Brothel and Gin & Sin Speakeasy over the past year, the hundred-year-old building at 3862 High Street has re-opened as the High Street Bar & Grill.
Frank Blea, who’s owned the building for over three decades, says that some of his family members will manage the place, which is in the process of turning into more of a sports bar. More TVs will be installed in the coming weeks, and the kitchen should be up and running in the near future as well.
