Gretchen Kurtz checked out Hop Alley this week, chatting with chef Todd Somma about the traditional Chinese dishes he’s turning out in River North. Meanwhile, Mark Antonation was exploring international cuisine a little farther east, with samples of goat and spaghetti from Somali eatery Kin Resaurant and Korean-Chinese noodles from P & Y Cafe on South Parker Road.
