Wouldn’t a nice, warm doughnut taste good right now? Ian Kleinman, known for his Inventing Room food lab and catering company, will be hosting Molecular Donuts 4.0 Highlands at Sunnyside Burger Bar from 6 to 10:30 a.m. today, and he will be back every morning through January 25.

This pop-up, the fourth of its kind — Kleinman’s previous doughnut pop-ups have been at Table 6, Bittersweet and Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs — will feature his biggest menu yet, with a molecular coffee bar, exploding whipped cream, chocolate blankets, liquid nitrogen-frozen pie crumbs and these doughnuts (each $5):
PB&J: cream, burnt peanut butter marshmallow, grape jelly caviarTres leches: cinnamon cream, horchata soaked-churro pieces and grilled mango
German chocolate: Coconut cream, chocolate blanket, coconut pop rocks, pecan paper
Boulder: Colorado honey marscapone, spicy granola, strawberry frozen Greek yogurt, candy mint and rose.
Lemon brûlée: cream, lemon curd, burnt lemon sugar, sous-vide blueberries
Traci’s Sweet and Savory: cream, compressed strawberries, balsamic glaze and candied rosemary walnuts
Warm donut bread pudding: chilled milk, hot caramel, twenty-hour apples.
