Linger has a date with the Denver Department of Excise and Licenses on May 26. Justin Cucci, chef/owner of Root Down, has signed on for a second space a few blocks away from his restaurant at 1600 West 33nd Avenue. This one is in the old Olinger’s building that’s been redubbed the LoHi Marketplace, right next to Little Man Ice Cream and Lola.

According to developer Paul Tamburello, Linger is the only signed lease so far, but he’s talking to some retail outlets. Cucci’s project is looking at a late fall/early winter opening.
