For nearly twenty years, Carmine’s on Penn Italian Restaurant has been stuffing Denver with its heaping bowls of gourmet pasta. Though Carmine’s pricing is often as bloated as its patrons’ bellies — largely due to serving sizes that are injurious for a single person to consume — the restaurant jas always focused on high-quality, often locally sourced ingredients.

Now, however, a more affordable and portable dining option has emerged. Little Carmine’s, sandwiched between its sister restaurant and B. Goods medical marijuana dispensary, has repurposed many of its progenitor’s recipes and quality ingredients into sandwich form.
The spaghetti & meatballs sandwich even includes noodles.
Open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, Little Carmine’s at 84 South Pennsylvania is a great option if you’re in search of big Italian taste for a relatively small price ($10 to $12) at lunch. See the full menu here.
