It’s patio weather, and LoHi SteakBar is doing its bit to heat things up with a new, meaty happy hour, offered twice a day. The eclectic chophouse, which opened six years ago, changed its ownership structure and introduced a revamped menu six months ago; the new happy hour complements that menu.

Seven days a week, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. to close, LoHi SteakBar will serve two-for-one wines, wells and drafts. The drink specials are paired with a swath of new happy hour bites inspired by the internationally-infused menu. There’s a miniaturized edition of the Blue Smoke burger ($3) with blue cheese, caramelized onions and bacon, as well a steak sandwich ($4) with gruyere and onion jam. SteakBar also offers pure hedonism in the form of chicken sausage poutine ($8) and loaded potato skins with all the fixings. Plus, happy hour shows off the raw bar with $1 oysters on the half-shell. Looks like Denver has a new destination for late-night goodies and afternoon delights.
