To celebrate the opening of its tenth Colorado location at 2073 South Colorado Boulevard, Mad Greens is tossing free salads today from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. According to manager Ben Pappas, lines haven’t started forming yet, but they’re ready for action.
Customers can choose from any one of Mad Greens’ “designed” pre-made salads with the option of adding chicken. In lieu of payment, the restaurant is asking customers to donate to the YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign. “It’s highly appreciated but not mandatory,” Pappas says.
One hundred percent of yesterday’s opening day net sales were donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. For more information, call 303-756-1222.
