The folks behind Motor Sport Country Club have canceled plans to open an exclusive and swanky restaurant at 970 Yuma Street — which may not be entirely disappointing to its celebrity clientele.

“We couldn’t generate enough interest from our members,” says Claus Wagner, founder and CEO of the motorsports-focused club. “I don’t think we’ll open a restaurant anytime soon.”

The building that had been slated for the restaurant, a massive warehouse off I-25 just south of downtown, has been bought by someone else; its fate has yet to be determined.
